NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES () — Two people were hospitalized early Friday morning following a violent crash in North Hollywood.
A truck and an SUV collided around 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of Burbank and Cahuenga boulevards, according to authorities.
A man who was in the truck said he and his family were on their way home from work when they were hit.
“We stopped right here at the red light. Once the green light turned, we were going and this car hit us,” said the man, who had a gash on his right eyebrow. “All our carpet cleaning equipment, our engine, all that stuff that was in the truck was basically totaled and destroyed.”
The man said his brother was taken to the hospital and added that his dad and dog were not hurt. Meantime, the driver of the SUV was also transported to the hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department said it’s investigating the incident as a possible DUI crash.
