California Highway Patrol rescues injured owl in Stevenson Ranch in Los Angeles County

STEVENSON RANCH, Calif. () — Officers with the California Highway Patrol conducted an important rescue in Stevenson Ranch last night — rescuing an injured owl.

Video from the scene showed the two CHP officers moving an injured owl out of the road that appeared to be suck.

The officers put the owl in a box and drove away with it.

It’s unknown how the bird was injured and who is caring for it now.
