AIR7 was overhead as Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade participants marched by a crime scene where at least one person was stabbed.
LYNWOOD, Calif. () — At least one person was taken to the hospital after a stabbing near the Candy Cane Lane Christmas Parade in Lynwood.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Century Station said the call came in around 8 p.m. on Friday.
Deputies confirmed there was one stabbing victim and said they were still investigating if there were any additional victims.
Investigators did not provide details about the victim’s condition or what led up to the stabbing.
AIR7 was overhead as parade participants marched by a crime scene near Atlantic Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
So far, there’s no description of the suspect(s), and no one has been taken into custody.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
