Elizabeth Hurley Uses This ‘Rich’ $20 Face Cream That Keeps Skin ‘Soft’ and ‘Plump’ All Day, Per Shoppers

Elizabeth Hurley is one of those celebrities who seem to age backward — and she adamantly denies any plastic surgery. In a recent interview with InStyle, the 61-year-old even said she’s “never had a chemical peel or any laser treatments for resurfacing.” Instead, she simply prioritizes hydration by applying the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream daily.

This K-beauty gem is one of Korea’s top-selling barrier creams because it deeply moisturizes, improves skin elasticity and strengthens the skin barrier. The rich cream does this courtesy of five different ceramides in the formula, along with panthenol and glycerin, which together lock in moisture and keep skin hydrated for hours.

While Hurley admits she tries out “lots of serums and creams,” she usually ends up back at her “old favorites,” including this one. We suspect she’s probably reaching for it more often now that the weather is becoming colder and drier. Thick creams — especially ones made for barrier restoration — help prevent dry, chapped cold-weather skin and make it easier for your complexion to maintain a plump, healthy and dewy appearance.

Many Amazon shoppers rely on the Dr. Jart+ cream as the temperatures start to dip. “When I get extra dry spots in the winter, this really helps to heal them,” one reviewer wrote, adding that they have “dry, sensitive skin” and that the product “sinks in beautifully and leaves me feeling soft, plump, and protected all day.”

Keep in mind that while the texture is thick, it melts into skin easily. Because of this, some people prefer to slather it on at night before bed, but it also preps skin beautifully for makeup. “It layers with other products without pilling,” the same reviewer added.

Whether you want to prepare your skin for winter or simply want to age gracefully, the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream is a worthy addition to your vanity. Plus, it’s one of the more affordable barrier creams out there. Add it to your cart today!
