If there’s one piece of advice I wish I’d received as a new mom, it’s to stock my medicine cabinet just as diligently as I stocked up on diapers and wipes. Thankfully, I’ve learned a thing or two in my nearly 10 years of motherhood, and one of the biggest lessons is to always have kids’ cold and flu essentials at the ready.
I discovered Frida’s go-to cold and flu essentials during my son’s very first fever, and I’ve been a believer ever since. With everything from the congestion-relieving NoseFrida to the trusty 3-in-1 infrared thermometer, I, like many parents, keep the brand’s essentials on hand for those middle-of-the-night stuffy noses and feverish sick days at home.

When my son got his first cold at five months old, the only thing that provided him enough relief to sleep through the night and breathe easier was the trusty NoseFrida nasal aspirator. Like a lot of first-time moms, I was a bit hesitant (okay, a little grossed out) by the idea of using the SnotSucker to suction out that yucky built-up mucus. But after seeing how much easier it made clearing his stuffy nose, I quickly became a believer.
Cold and flu season is just beginning, and the last thing I want is to be caught off guard during one of those middle‑of‑the‑night wakeups. Though I already swear by the classic NoseFrida essentials, I’m also adding the Electric NoseFrida Pro to our lineup — a bonus buy that features hospital‑grade suction when you need the extra power. Multiple tip sizes also make it easy to use for any of my kids, and it’s a solid upgrade to our already well-stocked cold-and-flu toolkit.
I’m not the only parent who swears by Frida’s congestion-relief tools either. Parents call the nasal aspirator lineup “amazing,” “super effective,” “easy to clean” and that they’re “never going back to tissues or bulb syringes again.”
“Let me tell you, this thing gets so much snot out. We had an emergency room visit where they use the deep suction and I would say this is comparable,” one 5-star reviewer said. “If you’re on the fence about it, definitely make the leap and buy it because your little one…will be able to breathe better! Pair with a saline spray and you’re golden.”
Another shopper said the OG NoseFrida Snotsucker has been a real lifesaver for stuffy noses, adding, “It clears things out quickly and helps my baby breathe so much easier, especially during colds. It’s also simple to use and easy to clean, which makes it a go-to whenever congestion hits.”
Parent to parent, let me tell you — the last thing you want is to wake up in the middle of the night with a stuffy kid and no real way to help them breathe easier. Stocking up ahead of time has saved me more sleepless nights than I can count, and having Frida’s cold and flu relief tools on hand has become a go-to way I take special care of my kiddos.
