On Saturday Night Live, Taylor Swift crashed Dakota Johnson’s monologue, joking that the actress often shows up at her house to vent about relationships. Dakota then called Swift her “literal therapist” — and that’s when I spotted Swift’s fall-ready boots.
The Patient Zero singer stepped out in knee-high Burberry leather boots in a rich chocolate-brown hue. The pair featured a sculptural flared heel, adjustable top strap and brushed gold-tone hardware for an elevated finish. And while Swift’s exact pair costs just shy of $2,000, I found a very similar style for just $39 on Amazon.

While the striking shoes are also available in onyx and wine red, the cacao hue is the closest match to Swift’s ‘model-off-duty’ pair. Like the original, the boots hit just below the knee, offer a tall, climbing shaft and look effortlessly elegant. The only differences? The toe is slightly more pointed, and you’ll have to forgo the gold-tone hardware — but for $1,952 less, it’s an easy steal.
There couldn’t be a better time to snag a pair of Swift-inspired boots, either. With fall fully in swing, style them with plaid mini skirts, sheer stockings and sweater dresses. They’re a genius way to stay warm without sacrificing an ounce of style, turning simple outfits into elevated ensembles.
The comfort is also above par, with one self-proclaimed “shoe snob” initially skeptical of the pair. “They are comfortable and stylish and look like I paid way more for them than I did,” they said. “I got so many compliments, all day!” Another reviewer even wore them to a concert, calling them “cute and comfortable,” proving their functionality.
