Move over Millennial duck lips, Gen Z’s latest pose is coming to take your spot.
It’s a case of who did it breast. A new signature stance is setting the world a bust — er a buzz.
It’s called the boob rest, and on-trend celebs like Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber are all racking up points with their younger fans by posturing themselves in the newest pose.
Despite being fairly self-explanatory, here’s how it works.
If duck lips were all about the face, boob rest is all about the…positioning. Place both hands conveniently on your chest with your fingers draping your décolletage. Almost like a, “Am I forgetting something?” pose or like you’re clutching your pearls.
Those looking to be a bit more risque can turn the drape into a full grab.
In fact, outrageously witty comedian, Meg Stalter and her Hacks’ co-star Paul Downs, recreated Kylie Jenner’s outfit at the “Marty Supreme” premiere back in December 2025.
Jenner famously showed off her bright orange outfit — along with her goods — as she posed with her hands placed cloaked over both of her bosoms.
Shortly after the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” star took the internet by storm with her busty and vivid outfit, the laugh-out-loud comedy duo dressed in all orange matching outfits, where Stalter paid homage to Jenner with the now viral chest grab.
A slew of other A-listers got in on the action. Last year, Dua Lipa got in on the squeeze as she posted a snap of herself on Instagram lightly touching her chest.
Hailey Bieber upped the ante by doing variations of the signature move — placing both hands on the chest or one hand just grazing the area — in posts on her Instagram and in print.
The trendy move has gone past celebs and made it to the everyday woman, as people all over the internet are holding on to their cleavage for dear life — and for pictures.
Lizzie Kloehn, a 25-year-old photographer and content creator, told HuffPost the boob rest pose has gained traction because it’s a natural position women find themselves doing.
“I think the reason it’s become so popular is because it’s just one of those poses that feels super natural, non-awkward and easy to hit when a camera is suddenly pointed at you,” Kloehn said. “[It’s] kind of like putting your hand on your hip, doing a peace sign or grabbing your shoe.”
So, if you find yourself in front of a camera and wonder what you should do with your hands, try giving yourself a quick — and gentle — grab.
