NEW YORK — “Malcolm in the Middle” is back!
Joelle Garguilo spoke to the cast at the Red Carpet in New York City on Tuesday, including Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek who are returning for “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair.”
The popular TV show is coming back for a four-episode revival.
The original show premiered more than 20 years ago.
Almost all of the original cast is back, including Frankie Muniz, who plays Malcolm, and says he was thrilled to come back.
“I love it. I could play Malcolm forever. You know what I mean? A lot of actors are like ‘oh I don’t want to do this anymore,’ this was awesome,” Muniz said. “Everyone loves the show.”
“There is intrinsic value in pure laughter,” said Bryan Cranston, who plays Malcom’s dad in the show. “Joy and laughter can actually make your day better. Maybe make your week better. It’s not a panacea. It doesn’t solve problems, but it does lift you up to take another step and another day.”
“We’ve been given a gift, and we’re we’re celebrating. Who knew? I certainly didn’t have any inkling that we’d ever revisit these characters again, and here we are,” Cranston said.
“Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” premieres April 10 on Hulu.
Joelle Garguilo has the details on the 4-episode series revival.
