1 dead, 2 injured after car crashes into pole in Pacoima

PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES () — One person was killed and two others were injured after a vehicle collided with a pole in Pacoima, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash occurred on the corner of San Fernando Road and Paxton Street.

A male was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local trauma center in critical condition.

A female sustained minor injuries and was not expected to be transported to the hospital.

A third victim was extricated and determined to be deceased on the scene.
