Nicole Kidman soaked up some quality time with her daughters in an unexpected place after finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban.
“Thank you @SilverSea for taking me to my 7th continent! Once in a lifetime adventure with family and friends,” Kidman, 58, captioned an Instagram post shared Wednesday, January 21.
The first photo of Kidman’s slideshow featured her standing alongside Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, while wearing matching red jackets. The trio held up a sign that read, “My 7th Continent! Touched down in Antarctica! Living the dream – one continent at a time.”
In another snap, Kidman posed in front of a gorgeous glacier, blending in to the background in a white coat. She later had a pensive moment while staying cozy in a cream-colored sweater.
The getaway comes months after Us Weekly confirmed in September 2025 that Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, 58, after 19 years of marriage. At the time, a source exclusively told Us that the couple had been “quietly separated for a while.”

“She had faith they could work it out. This wasn’t Nicole’s decision, and she is devastated,” the insider continued. “Her trust was lost, and it was too far gone. Nicole had been trying to get them to work on their marriage and did not want this to get out to the public.”
In her documents, Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the pair’s split. Us confirmed earlier this month that the pair finalized their divorce.
According to court docs obtained by Us, neither Kidman nor Urban will pay alimony or spousal support. Kidman was listed as the primary parent of their two daughters, and no monthly child support will be paid.
Kidman initially requested to be the “primary residential parent” for Sunday and Faith, with a plan suggesting she spend 306 days with the girls each year. Urban, meanwhile, would receive 59 days with their daughters, as well as alternating weekends. Both Kidman and Urban signed off on the proposed plan.
“In the unlikely event that the parties do not agree on a major decision for either minor child, [Nicole] shall have final decision-making authority,” the agreement read.
Nearly one month after the couple’s split made headlines, a source told Us that Urban “has moved on and has been open with Nicole about where he stands.” Per the insider, Kidman’s divorce filing was a “long time coming.”
“[They] had grown apart quietly over time, and by the end, the decision to separate was more about acceptance than surprise,” the source continued.
A separate insider noted that Kidman shared a similar mindset, telling Us, “She is pushing forward in a good way. She isn’t necessarily trying to find her new normal throughout all of this, because they had been quietly separated for a while now.”
Ahead of her visit to Antarctica, Kidman gave fans a glimpse of how she rang in the new year with her daughters. “Looking forward into 2026 xx,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on January 1 while posing with Sunday and Faith in front of a body of water.
