Stefon Diggs’ ex Aileen Lopera dropped her paternity and child support lawsuit against the NFL star, days after her lawyer claimed a DNA test proved Diggs was the father, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On Tuesday, January 20, Lopera filed court docs requesting the dismissal of her entire case against Diggs, 32. Lopera’s attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told Us, “The matter has been resolved.”
Lopera filed her suit in December 2024. She explained she gave birth to a daughter named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera on April 2, 2024, and that Diggs was the father. The suit was ongoing at the time that Diggs’ current girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, announced she was pregnant and expecting her fourth child with the wide receiver for the New England Patriots in September 2025.
In her petition, she claimed she had sexual intercourse with Diggs in California, which led to her pregnancy. She asked the court to order that Diggs was the legal father to the baby girl.
Lopera also asked for sole legal and physical custody of her daughter, with Diggs having visitation. Her filing requested that the NFL star be on the hook for child support, pregnancy expenses and legal fees associated with bringing the petition.
At the time the suit was filed, Lopera’s attorney spoke to Us about the case.
“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles,” Arminak told Us.
Diggs responded to the case on July 17. He said he was not certain that he was the father and asked for a DNA test to be conducted.

His paperwork requested that “genetic testing” be done to make sure he was the dad. If he was, Diggs asked for joint legal and physical custody of the baby girl.
On November 6, 2025, Lopera’s lawyer released a statement claiming a DNA test confirmed Diggs was the father.
“We can confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father,” Arminak said. “And, we are hopeful that he will meaningfully contribute to the child’s life and coparent with our client who has had to do everything on her own thus far.”
A couple of days later, Cardi gave birth to her fourth child and first with Diggs.
“Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it,” Cardi, 33, said on social media on November 13. “I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve.”
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced she was pregnant with Diggs child during an interview with Gayle King on September 17, 2025.
She said, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited.”
“I’m happy,” she said. “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Cardi and her estranged husband, Offset, share three children: Kulture Kiari Cephus, 7, Wave Set Cephus, 4, and Blossom Belle, 11 months.
During her chat with King, Cardi spoke out about Offset. She said, “I just wish he was a better person. But it is what it is. Be a better person for the kids.”
