Influencer Kristy Scott has filed for divorce from husband Desmond Scott after more than a decade of marriage.
Kristy — who goes by Kristy Sarah on Instagram and TikTok — filed the paperwork on December 30, 2025, per documents obtained by Us Weekly.
The social media star cited alleged infidelity as the reason for their split, according to a Friday, January 9, report from TMZ. (Kristy and Desmond share two kids together, sons Vance and Westin, and have been married since 2014).
Docs filed in Harris County, Texas, state there is no chance of reconciliation and they “will soon stop living together as husband and wife,” per the report, which notes her last post including the chef was in December 2025. Us has reached out to Kristy and Desmond for comment.
The pair’s breakup will likely be a shock to fans considering Kristy and Desmond have known each other since they were 14 and often shared light-hearted videos showing their family dynamic.
In October 2025, she posted a video trying on Gucci heels, captioned, “If you walk in them, you can buy them.” Kristy made sure to go above and beyond, doing forward flips, twirls and dance moves. Last May, she also posted a video featuring herself and Ciara doing the viral chair challenge.
“The real challenge was Desmond trying to keep up with @ciara at the end 😂 SIR???” she quipped.
Kristy and Desmond have built up a massive following online. She has 9.4 million Instagram followers and 16.8 million on TikTok. Desmond has 1.7 million followers on Instagram and 1.4 million on TikTok.

The pair also co-own a production company called Meant To Be Films, which captures wedding content in a storytelling format documenting “the love, the laughs, and joyful tears.”
In 2024, the couple celebrated a milestone in their relationship with a special event to honor their 10-year wedding anniversary.
“The theme of the party was focused on floral elegance. Our guests felt like they were walking into a garden,” they told People at the time. “Our aim was to be elegant and timeless.”
Reflecting on the days they first enjoyed marital bliss, Kristy and Desmond shared, “We were teenagers and hadn’t even developed any style preferences, so this was our chance to redo our wedding as the adults that we are now, celebrating the life we’ve built and journey thus far!”
The duo added, “This felt even more special than our wedding.”
Fans have grown to love Kristy and Desmond’s prank videos so it may come as no surprise they hired an over-the-top caricature artist for the shindig that focused on “emphasizing distinctive features in a playful way.” The couple shared, “People were laughing the entire night at their embarrassing photos — not knowing they would be unpleasantly surprised by the outcome.”
“We have been best friends since teenagers and that’s never changed,” they added. “We focus on genuinely having fun, constantly laughing, keeping things light and spontaneous and finding humor in everyday life. Ten years flew by, we’ve literally grown up together and navigated life together.”
