Late Seinfeld and The Middle actor Pat Finn celebrated his 35th wedding anniversary with his wife, Donna Crowley Finn, only three months before his death at age 60 in December 2025.
The couple often shared throwback photos from their near 40-year relationship via social media, with Pat always mentioning how much he loved Donna.
“[You are] the most amazing woman I know!! Thanks for being the best,” Pat wrote to Donna via Instagram in September 2025.
Mere months after that post, TMZ reported that Pat — who got his start with Chris Farley at the famed Second City improv troupe in Chicago — was surrounded by his loved ones when he died at his Los Angeles home on December 23, 2025, following a battle with cancer. Comedian Jeff Dye, a close friend of the Finn family, described the late star as “one of the best dudes”and credited him for having “a perfect sense of humor.”

According to Pat’s Instagram, he married Donna on September 29, 1990. The couple share three children: Cassidy, Caitlin and Ryan.
Donna shared via Threads in May 2025 that she’d spent Mother’s Day with Pat and all three of their kids.
“Spent Mother’s Day with some of my favorite people. I’m so lucky,” she wrote.
Mother’s Day 2025 was an especially poignant celebration in 2025 because Donna’s own mom had died two months earlier.
“Oh Mom!! I will be forever grateful for your love, support and humor! You taught me how to be a friend, a wife and a mother,” she wrote. “You & Dad showed me true love does exist and can last a lifetime. You were the best mom and MeMo. I love [that] my kids always knew you had their back. I can’t imagine this life without you in it … I will love you forever Mom.”

Pat frequently gushed about his marriage to Donna via social media. For her birthday in September 2024, Pat warmly referred to Donna as “my best friend and love of my life.”
“Can’t imagine my life without you and thankful for all the magic and love in our lives,” he wrote in September 2022 to celebrate the 39th anniversary of him meeting Donna.
In September 2020, he called his wife “the smartest, kindest, funniest, and loving best friend a guy could ask for.”
“Love u now and forever,” Pat added.

The Middle actor celebrated his 35th wedding anniversary in September 2025 by posting a throwback photo from his and Donna’s wedding day in 1990.
“Wow, 35 years!!! Lucky doesn’t even begin to describe being married to your best friend and the love of your life,” Pat Finn wrote to Donna. “Thanks for all the years of love and laughter. Looking forward to all the years to come.”
Their daughter Caitlin Finn replied to her dad’s anniversary post to call Pat and Donna the “greatest parents ever.”

The Finns were among the many Hollywood families impacted by the California wildfires in January 2025. While stars such as Billy Crystal and his wife Janice, Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum, and Miles and Keleigh Teller all lost property in the Palisades Fire, Donna confirmed via Threads that she and Pat Finn were “safe from the fires”.
“The smoke is moving so fast,” she explained. “I’ve never experienced this kind of wind. It’s terrifying and we are praying for all those who have lost their homes. Keep the brave firefighters in your prayers.”

The Palisades Fire spread over 23,448 acres in Los Angeles, destroying 6,837 structures and damaging 1,017 more along the way, according to Cal Fire. The Department of Justice announced in October 2025 that it had charged L.A. resident Jonathan Rinderknecht with one count of destruction of property by means of fire, one count of arson affecting property used in interstate commerce, and one count of timber set afire for allegedly starting the Palisades Fire. (Rinderknecht, 29, pleaded not guilty in October 2025, reported ABC News.)
