LOS ANGELES — The Wattersons are back, and they’re here to prove that reality is more of a guideline than a rule.
A brand-new trailer for ‘The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball” has dropped, offering a sneak peek at the mischief and mayhem headed our way in season two.
The footage hints at the gang revamping their image with a mix of animation styles.
The official synopsis states: “This season will tackle a promposal involving Penny faking her own death, outright pandemonium with wild animals invading the suburbs, and a witchy student cult attempting a yearbook séance.”
Fans will also see the long-awaited return of the franchise’s biggest foes: Rob and The Void.
The returning voice cast features Alkaio Thiele as Gumball, Hero Hunter as Darwin, Kinza Syed Khan as Anais, Teresa Gallagher as Nicole, and Dan Russell as Richard, alongside a host of familiar faces.
All episodes of “The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball” season 2 premiere December 22 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. Catch up on season 1 also streaming on Hulu.
