Weather 
Wicked: For Good has received 7 nominations at the 31st annual Critics Choice Awards, including Best Picture. Other notable nominees in various categories include Hamnet, Blue Moon, The Testament of Ann Lee, and Kiss of the Spider Woman.
For television, Carrie Coon and Denée Benton received nominations for their work in The Gilded Age, and Elsbeth received a nod for Best Comedy Series and Best Actress for Carrie Preston.
Nominations for the second part of the Wicked movie adaptation include a nod for Best Casting and Ensemble, with Ariana Grande receiving a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Nathan Crowley and Lee Sandales were recognized in the Best Production Design category, while Paul Tazewell garnered a nod for Best Costume Design. Frances Hannon, Sarah Nuth and Laura Blount received a nomination for Best Hair and Makeup, and Stephen Schwartz garnered a nomination for Best Song with “The Girl in the Bubble,” sung by Grande in the film.
The winners will be revealed at the Critics Choice Awards gala hosted by Chelsea Handler, which will broadcast LIVE on E! and USA Network on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The show will once again be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Notably, four new categories have been added to this year’s show: Best Variety Series, Best Stunt Design, Best Casting and Ensemble, and Best Sound.
