These zodiac signs are destined for a drama-free Thanksgiving Mercury retrograde

Because the gods love to thwart us, Thanksgiving 2025 coincides with the year’s final Mercury retrograde, amplifying emotion and making strife the side dish of choice.

Mercury rules the mind and the mouth, communication, conversation, suspicion and instigation. When the planet goes retrograde, it throws a match into the gas tank of our human exchanges, especially in the shadow working sign of Scorpio.

Scorpio is ever on the lookout for betrayal or falsehoods and ain’t afraid to pull the lies into the light and onto the cornucopia platter.

“With Mercury in Scorpio, people speak straight from the heart – even when they don’t mean to,” said psychic astrologer Inbaal Honigman, told Casino guru.

To avoid uncomfortable escalations, she recommends keeping topics light, clarifying misunderstandings and steering clear of sharp objects and sensitive debates.

With Mars, our planet of friction and conflict, moving through the pirate heart of Sagittarius during the holiday, simply getting some fresh air can take the edge off the fresh hell of close quarters and familial contempt.

But it ain’t all bad, folks.

“Retrogrades naturally bring people back together,” said Honigman. “Expect nostalgia, resurfacing conversations, and even messages from exes or old colleagues.”

While this transit will affect each zodiac sign, some will have an easier go of it come turkey day.

Praise be for Capricorns, as Saturn, your ruling planet, finally finishes its retrograde over the holiday weekend, lifting some of the oppressive emotional energy that’s been holding you hostage since July. This cosmic shift will correlate to an overall lightening up.

“Those born under the sign of the sea goat are usually more focused and businesslike than most, but this Thanksgiving weekend lets you prioritize your heart and emotional health,” Honigman told The Post.

She notes that family affairs will feel gentler and more meaningful this year.

“Capricorn, typically the organiser, planner, or fixer, becomes more open to affection, vulnerability, and connection. Over the Thanksgiving [weekend] you let love guide the way, and it feels vulnerable, but also amazing.”

Meanwhile, Pisces folks experience an equally powerful shift when Saturn ends its retrograde in their sign. To boot, the moon will be in Pisces for the bulk of the weekend, amplifying emotional sensitivity and clarity.

“As Saturn starts going direct again during Thanksgiving, you’re full of plans and ideas for the future,” said Honigman. “The fog lifts, and Pisces enters the holiday feeling hopeful and creatively replenished.”

The good news keeps on rolling, folks, as friends and relatives could come correct with career opportunities

While most signs feel the sharper edges of Mercury retrograde in family settings, Pisceans will feel seen and supported.
