A Brazilian nutritionist and bodybuilder influencer has died after plunging from her apartment building roof, cops said.
Diana Arêas, 39, was found dead in the common area of her complex in Campos, north of Rio de Janeiro, on Thursday, local outlet J3News reported.
The influencer, who boasted 200,000 followers on Instagram, was hospitalized earlier in the day after first responders were called to her apartment and found her with lacerations all over her body.
Arêas was treated in hospital but checked out without clearance from doctors, authorities said.
Reports came in just hours later that her body had been found, according to cops.
Police have released few details about the circumstances surrounding her death, saying they are still investigating.
Arêas was a popular social media personality who regularly shared fitness and nutrition tips for “transforming bodies and minds,” according to her Instagram page.
Her account is filled with videos and photos of herself working out and posing in bikini snaps.
She also had competed in a spate of bodybuilding competitions, her profile shows.
Her final post just five days before her death was advertising an upcoming summer challenge she was encouraging followers to join.
The post has since been inundated with tributes from fans.
“I’m sorry as we won’t have your genius anymore!” one follower wrote.
“Rest in peace, my friend. May your soul find peace there with our Father.
