It’s time for a historemix! Broadway’s SIX the Musical will welcome a new cast of queens to the Lena Horne Theatre beginning February 19.
The new company will feature Najah Hetsberger (& Juliet) as Catherine of Aragon, Gianna Yanelli (Mean Girls) as Anne Boleyn, Kelsie Watts (The Voice) as Jane Seymour, Krystal Hernandez (SIX) as Anna of Cleves, Kay Sibal (The Voice) as Katherine Howard, and Taylor Marie Daniel (Once Upon a Mattress) as Catherine Parr. Watts, Hernandez, and Sibal will all be making their Broadway debuts in the production.
As previously reported, Didi Romero will play her final performance February 9, while current Broadway queens Adrianna Hicks, Storm Lever, Aubrey Matalon, Olivia Donalson, and Gabriela Carrillo will all play their final performances February 17. Alternates Aryn Bohannon, Jessie Davidson, Sierra Fermin, Jana Larell Glover, and Jenny Mollet will remain with the Broadway company.
Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ international hit musical is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage and features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, scenic design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse.
The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran with music supervision and vocal arrangements by Joe Beighton and U.S. music supervision by Roberta Duchak. Casting is by Tara Rubin Casting‘s Peter Van Dam.
Theater Matters is general manager, Sam Levy is associate producer, and Lucas McMahon is U.S. executive producer.
Six won the 2022 Tony for Best Original Score (music and lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. The West End production continues at the Vaudeville Theatre in London, on tour in the U.K., and on tour throughout Europe and Australia. An engagement in Singapore begins November 14, and in Tokyo in January 2025.
