Newborn boy dies on Skid Row in Los Angeles; LAPD investigating

SKID ROW, LOS ANGELES () — The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating after a newborn boy died on Skid Row in Downtown L.A. on Thursday.

The baby was found in the area of the 500 block of San Pedro Street at about 5:30 a.m., according to authorities. At one point, passersby performed CPR on the newborn.

It’s unknown how the baby got to Skid Row. No further details were immediately known.
