Will Arnett has a new woman in his life.
“It’s going really well,” the comedian, 56, said during the Monday, September 28, episode of his “SmartLess” podcast after cohost Jason Bateman asked for an “update on your love life and domestic life.”
When Bateman, 57, and guest Seth Meyers pressed Arnett to “talk about secrets,” the Arrested Development alum responded, “Both of you know exactly what’s happening, and I’m not gonna walk into your trap.”
However, Arnett insisted that he’s “very, very happy” and that “things are going great.”
Bateman then asked his cohost what the relationship might look like “in five years.”
“If I f***ing knew what five years … I am now, at 56, I have learned a little bit,” Arnett responded.
“In the last two years especially, to let go of whatever ideas of whatever I think it’s gonna go, it’s gonna happen,” he continued. “As you know, you get dealt so many f***ing curveballs. I’m in a place now where I’m really trying my best to just deal with what’s in front of me.”
Arnett also said he’s trying his “best” to build a strong foundation.
“I surround myself with great people, I’m in great programs with people, I’ve done some work on myself to try to do it in a way so that whatever does come my way, I handle it hopefully better than I have historically,” he concluded.
Though Arnett did not share the identity of his new girlfriend, People reported that the Lego Movie actor is dating Emma Marciano, the cofounder of Los Angeles fashion label Mimchik and the daughter of Guess founder Maurice Marciano.

Arnett was previously married to Penelope Ann Miller from 1994 to 1995 and Amy Poehler from 2003 to 2016. He and Poehler, 55, share sons Archie, 17, and Abel, 16. Arnett is also a dad to son Alexander, 6, with ex Alessandra Brawn, whom he dated from 2019 to late 2024.
Most recently, Arnett was linked to supermodel Carolyn Murphy, whom he dated for less than a year before their split earlier this year.
Though Arnett typically avoids discussing his relationships, he clapped back at misconceptions about his current dynamic with Poehler in a December 2025 interview with Rolling Stone. (The exes have remained close friends and coparents over the years and even reunited on “SmartLess” in April 2025.)
“People think that they know. Over the years, I’ve read so many opinions people have,” he told the outlet. “It’s f***ing hilarious to me how much s*** is just made up and they have zero idea. It’s like, ‘Oh, you think you know what my life is?’”
