Sinkhole opens following water main break in Burbank

BURBANK, Calif. () — A small sinkhole appears to have formed on a Burbank street following a water main break overnight.

The incident happened near Hollywood Way and Whitnall Highway.

AIR7 was over the scene where a white pickup truck was slowly sinking into the hole. A large amount of water was covering the street.

Crews eventually managed to pull the truck out of the sinkhole.

Additional details about the water main break were not available. No injuries were reported.
