Lindsie Chrisley was thrust into her boyfriend David Landsman’s custody battle with his ex-wife before the former reality star filed a protection order against him this week, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

In court documents obtained by Us, Lindsay Landsman accused her ex-husband’s “girlfriend” of publicly trashing her while also noting an alleged incident involving a pair of heels allegedly belonging to the “girlfriend,” which reportedly caused their daughter to require medical attention.

While Lindsay did not mention Chrisley, 36, by name, she included Instagram photos of the couple on vacation together. One image featured the Chrisley Knows Best alum’s rumored engagement ring. Chrisley has been dating David since at least April 2025.

According to the docs, dated November 2025, Lindsay and David’s minor child “has had at least two major injuries under [her] father’s care in only three years since the entry of the Permanent Parenting Plan,” she claimed.

Lindsay alleged that David “allowed the minor child to wear his girlfriend’s high heeled shoes to walk down a flight of exterior deck stairs, where the minor child fell and seriously injured her finger, which required emergency medical attention. [The] mother was never provided any medical records or bills, and the incident occurred out of state.”

Lindsay claimed David’s “girlfriend has spoken negatively about [her] in her podcast, resulting in unwanted national attention.” Per their parenting agreement, neither parent is authorized to make disparaging comments about the other in front of their child and must prevent others from doing the same.

After accusing David of failing to pay $1,300 in their agreed-upon child support in full or on time, she pointed out in the documents, “[He] claims a loss of income while also taking extravagant trips and purchasing several homes.”

In the filing, she also attached “social media posts showing [his] travels, listings of [his] extravagant vacation rentals, and a photo of [his] fiancé’s engagement ring.” Several of the social media posts were screenshots of Chrisley’s Instagram account.

She also included additional accusations about her ex-husband, claiming David “left the then seven-year-old minor child alone at home asleep while he went to the gym, fails to prioritize supporting [their] child in completing her homework, allows [their daughter] to ride without a booster seat and in the front seat of his vehicle, [and] allows the minor child to help pack CBD gummies.”

In separate documents from December 2025, Lindsay stated their “co-parenting conflict is not only ongoing but escalating” and “communication is strained, hostile, and sometimes nonexistent.”

When describing her ex’s communication style, she accused him of “constant[ly] badgering and lying with a short temper” and outlined his “aggressive and harassing tone.”

David denied all of his ex-wife’s allegations. He also fired back that his “girlfriend has never disparaged” Lindsay and her “claim of harassment is false.”

The two are scheduled for a conference about the custody matter on Thursday, April 23.

Chrisley filed a protective order against David earlier this week after he was arrested for aggravated assault, strangulation and battery on Friday, April 10.

In Chrisley’s filing obtained by Us, the ex-reality star claimed David became “verbally aggressive” over dinner when he saw a photo on her phone of what he thought was another man. Once they got back to David’s home, Chrisley allegedly explained “it would be best for her to step away from the relationship for the time being” due to “some things currently going on” in his life.

She claimed he “became agitated and aggravated” and allegedly “strangled” her “multiple times” as she tried to leave his house. At one point, David reportedly strangled her “with one hand and held her up so that her feet were off the ground.”
