The economics of software pricing are changing, and so is the risk of missed revenue. With customers increasingly billed according to how much they use, finance and revenue leaders need to connect real consumption with what is actually contracted and billed. Alguna’s Revenue Assurance gives them that visibility, identifying uncovered usage so CFOs can recover missed receivables and CROs can act on the accounts most likely to expand.

Alguna, an AI-native revenue management platform spanning CPQ, metering, billing, and revenue recognition, today announced the general availability of Revenue Assurance, a new workspace for finding unbilled usage in seconds.

“With the move away from seat-based pricing to usage-based pricing, CFOs and CROs have lost a calculation they used to take for granted. When your team was paid commission on annual contracts collected upfront, it was one calculation. Now there’s a variable in it, and on top of that, a fifth item nobody’s accounting for: customers using the product who we’re just not charging,” said Aleks Đekić, Co-founder and CEO at Alguna.

This work has traditionally required help from engineering, whether through custom scripts, endpoint monitoring, or manual reviews of raw logs. Teams then need to compare those results with subscription records and reconcile everything in spreadsheets. The complexity and cost of doing this regularly means many companies perform the exercise no more than quarterly.

Revenue Assurance replaces that manual process with a one-click scan. It reviews the customer base for usage that is not covered by an active contract, aggregates real metered usage that has not been billed, and separately checks for usage associated with identifiers that do not map back to a customer. The system automatically applies the product’s default rate to each finding, while allowing users to re-price individual results manually.

Findings can be organized by customer, allowing CROs to prioritize accounts for expansion and renewal conversations. Grouping by product gives CFOs a view of which parts of the product catalog are most consistently under-billed. Results from every run can be exported in a single CSV for teams across sales, customer success, and billing operations.

Aleks Đekić added: “For finance, usage-based revenue leakage means not knowing your margin, not knowing your bill, not knowing your revenue. For CROs, it means not knowing where to upsell, because the tracking data never reaches your CRM. Revenue Assurance solves both problems at once: CFOs get the accounts receivable they didn’t know they had, with proof it’s real, and CROs get a list of exactly which accounts to go after for expansion and renewal conversations.”

Revenue Assurance is now available to all Alguna customers who are already metering usage, with no additional setup, migration, or integration required.
