Travis Kelce knows Taylor Swift can never go out of style.
Kelce, 36, told Vogue that he has no notes when it comes to his wife’s wardrobe and fashion choices in a new interview published on Tuesday, September 1. “I love that Tay’s always authentically herself with every look,” he gushed. “Whether we’re hanging with some friends or just us two on a fun night out for dinner, she’s always effortless, elegant and beautiful.”
Kelce, who tied the knot with Swift, 36, in July during a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, continued, “She’s not afraid of unique patterns or bold colors, and she’s just timeless and classy in everything she steps out in.”
During her date nights with Kelce, Swift has been seen rocking mini skirts, lace stockings, corsets, sheer tops, dresses and more. In May, the singer looked whimsical in a sundress while holding hands with her husband-to-be.
For her New York City date, she rocked a Dôen off-the-shoulder dress featuring short puff sleeves, a fitted bodice and a pleated skirt with all-over floral details. She styled the look with a gold chain necklace, delicate earrings and Aquazzura’s Twist Sandal 95 heels. Swift further accessorized with a straw Gerard Darel purse, a hand chain, an opal bracelet and, of course, her massive engagement ring.
During another romantic evening in the Big Apple, Swift looked chic in a black Louis Vuitton pullover featuring a boatneck and gold chain detail. She matched the ribbed knit with a Louis Vuitton black mini skirt and Fleur Du Mal floral lace tights. She held hands with Kelce, who looked cool in a burgundy corduroy jacket and matching pants.
As for the NFL star, he told Vogue he gets fashion inspiration from “everybody,” and then puts his own twist on it.
“My style interest started when I was a kid, through my love for sports,” he explained. “The basketball shoes, the Ken Griffey Jr‘s, even Wayne Gretzky’s style in the late ’90s, when he teamed up with Nike. There are so many athletes I could name. Deion Sanders is another. He had so much swagger in how he dressed and presented himself.”
Kelce added, “I think that’s where the interest started, and I’m a bit of a chameleon, you know? I kind of take bits and pieces from everybody and everything that I see, and just kind of change things around depending on which situation I’m in and what event I’m going to.”
