The cast of The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project is happy to report reality TV did not break up their friendships with Khloé Kardashian.

“We’re super close. I think if anything, all these experiences and our professional relationship, I think it makes all of us closer,” Malika Haqq exclusively shared with Us earlier this month. “It deepens our bond and our appreciation for each other. We all want to see each other win, and I think that’s exactly why Khloé put us in that position. We’re all really thankful for her.”

In Hulu’s new reality show, cameras rolled as Malika, 43, Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Yris Palmer, Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English opened up their lives for viewers.

During the six-episode series, fans watched the cast get to know one another on a deeper level. While some unexpected tensions and clashing perspectives surfaced, the cast remained close with their executive producer.

“Khloé’s so supportive, and we wouldn’t obviously be here without her,” Yris, 36, told Us. “For her putting her friends on says a lot about her.”

Although Khloé, 42, made appearances during season 1, her main role was executive producer and narrator of the episodes.

When filming first started, Olivia, 37, said much of the cast didn’t know how much Khloé would appear in front of the camera. When her schedule allowed it to happen, her closest girlfriends were more than thrilled.

“We were so pleased that she came and hung out with us and filmed with us,” Olivia explained. “I think she really wants the reality of it, and that is it. She’s our friend, so that’s what we filmed. It was great to have her.”

No matter what would go down during filming, Nicole, 42, knew that her close friend had the best intentions for each and every cast member.

“I think that Khloé is definitely our safety net if we ever feel uncomfortable or we feel like we need to have a little talk and all get together to make sure that everybody’s comfortable,” the former WAGS star told Us on Friday, August 21.
