Algonquin Arts Theatre has released production photos for its upcoming staging of PIPPIN, running May 8-17, 2026 in Manasquan, New Jersey.

From Stephen Schwartz, the Tony Award-winning musical follows a young man’s search for purpose through a theatrical journey filled with music, choreography, illusion, and self-discovery. The production features songs including “Corner of the Sky,” “Magic to Do,” and “Morning Glow.”

Leading the cast is Matthew Paul Johnson in the title role of Pippin alongside Natalie Hayes-Scott as the Leading Player, Savannah Fouchi as Catherine, David Fusco as Charlemagne, Danny Marks as Lewis, Colleen Renee Lis as Fastrada, Lynne Truex as Berthe, and Parker Spagnuolo as Theo.

Johnson is appearing in his ninth production at Algonquin Arts Theatre, having previously appeared in GREASE, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, and AVENUE Q. Hayes-Scott returns to the Algonquin stage following credits including THE MOUNTAINTOP, AMERICAN SON, and A CHORUS LINE. Fouchi makes her Algonquin debut while currently studying musical theatre at Rider University.

Additional cast members include David Fusco, whose previous credits include THE SOUND OF MUSIC, ANNIE, and BEAUTY & THE BEAST; Danny Marks, returning after appearances in GREASE!, WHITE CHRISTMAS, and FOOTLOOSE; and Colleen Renee Lis, making her Algonquin debut following productions of CABARET, CHICAGO, and THE WILD PARTY.

Veteran performer Lynne Truex joins the production as Berthe, with previous credits including HELLO, DOLLY!, GYPSY, MAMMA MIA!, and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Parker Spagnuolo, making his Algonquin debut as Theo, recently toured Asia in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.

The ensemble of Players features Cassie Espinoza, Kyra Griggs, Amie Hueston, Roberto Jimenez, Daniela Julian, Kyle Kennedy, Alyssa Kiselev, Patricia McCarron, Adeline Faith O’Mara, and Alexis Turner.

The creative team includes director and choreographer Jessica O’Brien, music director Mark Megill, stage manager Onali Rosado, scenic designer Jason Greenhouse, lighting designer Roman Klima, sound designer Jan Topoleski, and properties designer Joseph Ficarra.
