LOS ANGELES () — A gas leak snarled traffic going to and from Los Angeles International Airport Wednesday after a gas line and water main were struck during construction, according to the fire department.

Northbound Sepulveda Boulevard lanes were closed at Imperial Highway as well as eastbound and westbound lanes of 96th Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The Gas Company and LADWP are on scene. Restoration time for the six-inch line is unknown.
