SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES () — A motorcyclist was killed in a car crash on Tuesday morning at an intersection in Sherman Oaks, authorities said.
The motorcycle and the sedan collided shortly after 6:30 a.m. at Ventura Boulevard and Woodman Avenue, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The unidentified motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger from the car was transported to a hospital in severe condition, the LAPD spokesperson said.
Video from AIR7 showed a white privacy canopy set up alongside the sedan and the motorcycle, which was overturned onto its side near the car’s front right panel.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
