Machine Gun Kelly is clearing up rumors that he lamented “fumbling” ex-fiancée Megan Fox in a social media post.
On Tuesday, October 13, the rapper — real name Colson Baker — responded to a screenshot of a fabricated X post attributed to him, which read in part, “Seeing these new pictures of Megan genuinely makes me wanna throw my phone into a f***ing wall.”
The supposed post, which was shared alongside several images of Fox, 40, and a photo of the former couple together, continued, “I had the baddest woman to ever walk this planet in love with me and somehow found a way to f**k it all up.”
“Imagine fumbling the girl of your dreams and then having to watch the entire world remind you how beautiful she is,” the fabricated message continued. “I’ll never forgive myself for that s**t.”
MGK, 36, responded to the post via X, “That tweet is faker than a pair of tits.”
Fox and MGK were first linked in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. The pair engaged in January 2022, but the relationship didn’t last, with the pair dating on and off until 2024.
Fox and MGK split for a final time in late 2024, months before welcoming their daughter, Saga, in March 2025. (MGK has a daughter, Casie, 17, from a previous relationship, while Fox shares sons Noah, 14, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 10, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.)
“MGK and Megan are done and only communicate about their daughter and coparenting logistics,” a source exclusively told Us in September. “They both know they have toxic tendencies and it’s much better this way.”

The insider added that while the rapper “will always love Megan and have a soft spot for her,” he “gave up on pursuing a romantic relationship with her several months ago.”
In recent months, MGK has been linked to actress Dakota Johnson, whom he reportedly met at Taylor Swift’s July wedding to Travis Kelce.
“They are seriously dating and their relationship has moved quickly since they met at Taylor [Swift]’s wedding,” a source exclusively told Us last month. “There was an instant spark and they have been keeping in touch, talking and FaceTiming every day for the last month.”
“Everyone knew this was actually serious when Dakota traveled to support Colson in Milan,” the insider added. Colson has this charm about him, which she was drawn to and she is really into him.”
