Kourtney Kardashian always has time for her and husband Travis Barker’s kids — even when she’s busy filming The Kardashians.
In the Thursday, October 8, season 8 premiere episode, Kardashian, 47, was sitting for a confessional while discussing her bond with stepson Landon when Barker, 50, appeared in the background holding the couple’s 2-year-old son, Rocky.
“Ah, hi!” she said. “I was just talking about Landon.”
While Barker held Rocky, the little one shared that he wanted to go “that way” away from the group. (Rocky’s face was blurred in the video for privacy.)
“That’s how he is,” Kardashian explained, “when there’s too many people lately.”
As Rocky reiterated that he wanted to “go that way,” Barker asked him, “Is it pandemonium?” Rocky confirmed, “Yeah,” and the father-son duo left the screen.
The couple welcomed their son in November 2023, one year after they tied the knot. Kardashian is also the mom of sons Mason, 16, and Reign, 11, and daughter Penelope, 14, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. Barker, meanwhile, welcomed Landon, 22, and Alabama, 20, with ex Shanna Moakler. He is also a father figure to Moakler’s daughter Atiana, 27, whom she shares with Oscar De La Hoya.
Barker and the reality star shared in Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June, that she got pregnant six months after they started dating in 2021. The couple were expecting a girl, who they were planning to name Tulip, before Kardashian learned during a three-month doctor’s appointment that their baby no longer had a heartbeat.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” Kardashian said in the documentary, which aired on Hulu in August. “We cried for days.”
The pair continued to try and conceive, including five IVF attempts in eight months, before pausing the process. Kardashian and Barker ultimately conceived Rocky naturally.
Barker has since shared that he wanted to use the documentary as a way to connect with his fans.
“When there’s things that can benefit people or help people relate to something, I think that’s always like a green light, especially — [Kardashian’s] always trying to do something like that,” Barker explained on The New York Times’ “Popcast” podcast in August. “Our journey of miscarriages and then IVF and it’s failed, resulting in us having a baby naturally — like, I feel like that’s a story that so many people can relate [to].”
New episodes of The Kardashians are released on Hulu every Thursday.
