Kim Kardashian is proving she isn’t afraid to poke fun at her bar exam results.
“People are always asking about all of the work I’ve gotten done. Not that type of work,” Kardashian, 45, said in an ad posted to her Instagram on Thursday, July 23, as she took off her sunglasses to reveal glasses underneath. “They always ask, ‘Kim, how do you do so much? Kim, how do you keep going? Kim, are they really real?’”
The camera then zoomed in on Kardashian’s chest, as she stood in front of a podium and spoke into several microphones as photographers snapped images of her.
“Honestly, my energy is just different,” Kardashian said, as she took a sip of the drink Update and replied to a question about what her “secret” is. “No secret. Just an update.”
Kardashian quipped that Update is formulated by a “team of leading experts, none of whom are me.”
“Did you know that people used to crash in the middle of the day? Wild,” she said. “I thought someone should do something about it.”
Kardashian went on to quip that caffeine “wasn’t working” and “working is my thing.” The ad then showed Kardashian sitting inside a clear cubicle, which was displayed in the middle of a museum, as she sat and wrote in a notebook.
When asked if she passed the bar exam, Kardashian replied, “No, I didn’t pass the bar. I raised it.” Kardashian captioned the post, “THE FUTURE OF ENERGY.”
The Kardashians star has been open about her journey taking the bar exam, sharing an update on her progress in 2025.
“Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “No shortcuts, no giving up — just more studying and even more determination. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far.”
She added: “Falling short isn’t a failure — it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!!!!!”
After Kardashian gets her license to practice law, she already has a plan in place for her future.
“I will be qualified in two weeks. I hope to practice law,” she shared on the U.K.’s Graham Norton Show one month prior. “Maybe in 10 years, I think I’ll give up being Kim K. and be a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”
