Allegra Edwards is hoping her new show, Eternally Yours, will be the project that — briefly — pulls her husband, Clayton Snyder, out of acting retirement after Lizzie McGuire.

“This is a very selfish [idea], but speaking of werewolves, my husband was an actor for a while. He doesn’t do it anymore,” Edwards, 38, exclusively told Us ahead of the show’s Halloween episode on Thursday, October 29. “There are a million fabulous actors that would play wonderful werewolves, but even if [Clayton] is just in the back, if he’s just in a wolf pack or in the back growling somewhere.”

Edwards said her husband “would make an incredible werewolf,” adding, “He’s got the hair. He’s always had the hair for it, right? But now he’s got this salt and pepper beard, which — as an Ethan Craft lover — it just elevates it to another level.”

She continued: “He’s still a fabulous actor. But even if he doesn’t speak and he’s just there, that would make me and my son so happy.”

Eternally Yours has many opportunities for guest stars as viewers get to know vampires Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz, whose marriage of 500 years has become monotonous. Season 1 has expanded the supernatural lore, with Thursday’s episode diving deep into werewolf mythology.

While speaking to Us, Edwards teased more possible information being introduced in the future. She also suggested possible cameos — including an appearance by Taylor Lautner, who famously played werewolf Jacob in Twilight.

Horror fans have plenty of spooky shows to sink their teeth into in 2026. CBS previously found success with their adaptation of Ghosts, which is going into its sixth season at the network. Creators Joe Port and Joe Wiseman expanded the universe with Eternally Yours, which premiered in October, and vampires Charles (Ed Weeks) and […]

“That would be so incredible if we had a werewolf cameo from the original werewolf. I know he’s not the original werewolf, but he is an iconic, legendary werewolf. We can all agree on that,” she told Us. “We will see some more werewolves and see what they’re capable of. It may or may not be something that [my onscreen daughter] Emma has a lot to do with. She’s got a really interesting dating history. I’m excited to see all kinds of creatures that could be showing up in our world, so there are endless opportunities there.”

Edwards also had ideas about the head of the vampire council, saying, “Who’s the big baddie that we’re all afraid of? I don’t know why, but I thought Conan O’Brien would be really fun as a very high up but very bureaucratic and very pale vampire. He would be a little bit more about the red tape than anything else. I thought that could be fun.”

Eternally Yours airs on CBS Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.
