TARZANA, LOS ANGELES () — Two semi-trucks crashed on the 101 Freeway, forcing the closure of all westbound lanes in Tarzana Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. at Tampa Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic log.
It’s unclear what caused the crash, but one semi overturned and the other was left jackknifed as a result. AIR7 was over the scene where a load of what appeared to be bricks were scattered across several lanes.
All westbound lanes were shut down as crews worked to clear the wreck. They were expected to remain closed until further notice.
