Clare Crawley is over the constant questions about whether she plans to have more children.
“Can we please STOP sending comments like this to women who have openly been through IVF??” Crawley, 45, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, May 6, sharing a fan message about whether she wants to give daughter Rowan, 2, “the gift of a sibling” as she grows up. She added, “My inbox is full of these comments.”
Crawley and her husband, Ryan Dawkins, welcomed Rowan via surrogate in January 2024. (Dawkins is also a father of two daughters from a previous relationship.)
“I’m not going to comment anymore or have to justify why I only have/want one daughter,” the former Bachelorette stated on Wednesday. “It’s not up to anyone but Ryan and I.”
She continued, “I’m not trying to be rude, but I’m really tired of reading these comments. We are over the moon to have her as our miracle [baby], so just stop. It’s wildly insensitive, no matter what your intention is. Not to mention she has two sisters!”
Crawley also has a special bond with her two stepdaughters.

“They’re completely obsessed with you,” Dawkins told Crawley in a 2022 social media video. “They love you so much.”
Dawkins and Crawley started dating in late 2021 and got engaged the following year.
“Everything in my world has changed since I met her, she’s the love of my life and I wish the world knew the Clare that I know,” Dawkins exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “She is one of the strongest women I know and is truly a light. I love our life and [am] beyond excited about our future.”
The couple tied the knot in February 2023, one year before Rowan’s arrival. Both before and after Rowan was born, Crawley struck up a friendship with her gestational carrier.
“We’re going to be seeing our surrogate, who I just love. I feel like I’ve known her my whole life,” Crawley gushed in an August 2023 post. “Her and I are alike in so many different ways. So grateful to have somebody in our lives that is so incredibly special and is giving us the biggest gift ever.”
Nearly three years later, Crawley weathered pregnancy speculation after she posted an Instagram pic of Dawkins holding her stomach.
“Yikes! I didn’t realize my husband wasn’t supposed to touch my stomach when he kissed me,” she wrote via her Instagram Stories in February, denying the rumors. “No one’s pregnant here.”
