Austin Stallman death: Son of Brazoria County Sheriff dies after heat stroke in College Station, sheriff’s office says

BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — The son of a southeast Texas sheriff died on Tuesday morning after suffering from a heat stroke, the sheriff’s office said.

According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, Austin Stallman suffered the heat stroke in College Station during a training program.

He was the son of Brazoria County Sheriff Bo Stallman.

Austin then began what officials described as a two-week battle before his death on Tuesday.

“The immense outpouring of love, support, and encouragement the Stallmans have received from you all during this incredibly difficult time has not gone unnoticed,” the sheriff’s office stated on social media. “In fact, it’s what has kept our Department and the Stallmans strong. We cannot thank you enough, and we will never forget.”
