SOUTH LOS ANGELES () — A toddler was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after a crash in South Los Angeles near Lynwood on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at 103rd Street and Alameda Street, according to Los Angeles police.
A vehicle was making a left turn onto 103rd from Alameda when it was T-boned by a vehicle that was headed southbound on Alameda, LAPD said.
A 2-year-old child was critically injured. According to LAPD’s South Traffic Division, the child was unconscious at one point and then brought back to life.
Two adults also sustained moderate injuries.
Video from the Citizen App shows two vehicles with heavy front-end damage at the scene.
LAPD said speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, though it was not immediately known which driver was at fault.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
