NEW YORK () — Freddie Freeman opened Game 4 for the Dodgers by making World Series history, blasting yet another home run off the Yankees.

It marked the fourth game in a row with a Freeman homer in this series – and six in a row for him personally, dating back to the last two games of the 2021 World Series when he was with Atlanta.

Freeman has now personally outscored the entire Yankees roster and seems destined to be named World Series MVP. He has 9 RBIs in the series, the most ever by a single player. He’s also the only player to hit homers in six consecutive World Series games.

The Dodgers are now up 2-0 in Game 4. At 3-0 in the series, they have a shot at sweeping the Yankees in New York Tuesday.

World Series Game 4 Preview

The Dodgers are now just one win away from making that World Series championship a reality as they now hold a commanding 3-0 series over the New York Yankees following their 4-2 road win on Monday night.

Freddie Freeman hit a home run in his third consecutive game and is, predictably, the runaway favorite to win World Series MVP at -2000 on ESPN BET.

If the Dodgers bring the same energy, L.A. can clinch in Game 4. Here’s everything you need to know about today’s game.

Fans are remembering Dodgers legend Fernando Valenzuela, who recently passed away, as the team is one win away from winning the 2024 World Series. 7’s Leo Stallworth shares more in the video above.
