When Mercury enters Scorpio — these 3 zodic signs will feel sexy but suspicious of things

Messenger planet Mercury enters the dark heart of Scorpio on Monday, October 6, where it will toil and boil before moving into Sagittarius on October 29th.

Mercury rules communication of all kinds, from sonnets to sexting, trolling to extolling.

Under the influence of intense and intensely suspicious Scorpio, our discourse takes the form of investigation.

During this transit, we are called to observe, question, dig, and uncover. We want to find our way to the bottom and, hopefully, back to the top — better than when we first lifted the metaphorical shovel.

Mercury in Scorpio would rather eat literal dirt than suffer through a topical conversation about the weather, so this month provides the opportunity for brave soul-baring.

Lest we forget — and Mercury in Scorpio won’t let us — we’re all going to die, and the time is now to speak clean and true while you still have an open mouth and beating heart to move you.

The danger of this transit is that it can activate the jealous, possessive, and downright paranoid parts of us, urging us to operate from a place of doubt, expecting the worst of others, and ever bracing ourselves for betrayal.

For those of us in or actively recovering from relationships, it can make us especially tender and — because Scorpio is a fixed sign — prone to holding onto each hurt.

Honesty and transparency in relationships should always be the aim — but with this transit, it becomes a matter of survival.

Mercury in this sign can spur us to seek or invent narratives and evidence that are harmful to our higher selves.

The first step back from that brink is awareness.

Ensure the information you’re after is the kind that will help move you forward, rather than hold you back.

While we’ll all be under the influence of this transit, three signs will feel its effects most acutely.

Read on, right on.

For Taurus types, Mercury’s move into Scorpio activates their seventh house of trusted partnerships.

“Your communication will become more rigid and inflexible during this transit,” Hily Dating App astrologer Lisa Stardust told The Post. “Instead of seeing the bigger picture in all situations, you could begin to fixate on the minor details that can hold you back.”

She urged the people of the bull to broaden their perspective and entertain a partner or viewpoint they may have previously dismissed.

Stardust has two directives for team Scorpio, during this transit: “Let your emotions drive you forward and stop second-guessing yourself.”

Part of that momentum can and should include being candid in your intimate expressions.

“Embrace your feelings right now.”

With Mercury in your sign, you have something of a Midas touch (or tail in your case) for both attraction and persuasion.

With Mercury in Scorpio hitting your eleventh house of friends and community, you’re on the make and making moves, Capricorn.

Stardust shared that for seagoats — sign-specific flirting ploys — such as inciting arguments and subtle bullying, might not alienate people, but neither will they magnetize them.

“Mercury in Scorpio asks you to evolve, Capricorn.”

Maybe it’s time to lead with sweetness over snark, an open mind over an arched eyebrow.
