Celebrities are known to give their children unique names, and 2025 delivered on the moniker front.
Stars from Rihanna and ASAP Rocky to Megan Fox and MGK chose interesting names for their newborns, including Rocki Irish and Saga Blade.
MGK told Today that his baby daughter’s name is an ode to his Nordic heritage, as “Sága” in Norse mythology refers to the goddess of storytelling.
“I think she has a storytelling future ahead of her,” the singer said.
There were also a slew of Oceans born in 2025, with celebrities including Amber Heard and Jesy Nelson choosing the gender neutral name for their children. It means “sea,” and represents strength, fluidity and a connection to the natural world, according to Mom Cozy.

Country artist Hailey Whitters and her husband, Jake Gear, welcomed their first baby, a son, on December 4. “🤎 RYE WHITTERS GEAR 🤎 .. and just like that everything is different,” read a joint Instagram post shared December 9.
Zayden Michael Murillo
Singer Tori Kelly announced the birth of her first baby with husband André Murillo via Instagram on November 16. “Zayden Michael Murillo 11.11.25,” she wrote. “We love you so much, sweet boy.”
Fawnie Golden Smith
Influencer Nara Smith and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, welcomed their fourth baby on October 12. “Fawnie Golden Smith🦌 our little golden girl born on my birthday welcomed to this world by Lucky,” they shared via Instagram. “Her entry into this world was graceful, gentle and oh so magical. Soaking all the love and snuggles!🤍
They also share children Rumble Honey, Slim Easy and Whimsy Lou.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky welcomed baby No. 3 on September 13, with Rihanna sharing photos and revealing her newborn daughter’s name via Instagram. “Rocki Irish Mayers,” she captioned the September 24 post.
The couple also share sons RZA Athelston and Riot Rose.
Livvy Luyendyk
The Bachelor couple Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham welcomed their fourth child, daughter Livvy, on September 18. They also share daughter Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
Rocky77 Aoki
Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Steve Aoki shared his baby news on July 25, welcoming newborn son Rocky — a.k.a. “Rocky77” — with wife Sasha Sofine.
“We’re so in love with him already,” Aoki wrote of their first baby via Instagram. “Even more special is that we get to celebrate our son’s birth on the same day as our wedding anniversary. Surprise arrival he came out on his own time already writing his first chapter of life. Let the adventures begin.”

Meyer Lane Peck
Drake & Josh alum Josh Peck and his wife, Paige O’Brien, announced the arrival of their third baby via Instagram on July 2. “Meyer Lane, we love you we love you,” read the caption of their joint post.
They also share sons Max Milo and Shai Miller.
Ocean and Story Foster
Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson gave birth to twin daughters Ocean and Story on May 15. She welcomed them with fiancé Zion Foster.
“So, our beautiful baby girls decided to come at 31 weeks plus 5 days,” Nelson wrote via Instagram less than one week later. “It all happened so quickly, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fighting strong! We’ve never felt more in love.”
Agnes and Ocean Heard
Actress Amber Heard confirmed on Mother’s Day that she recently welcomed twins Agnes and Ocean.
“My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full. When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy,” Heard wrote via Instagram on May 11, also referring to her eldest daughter. “Well, now I am bursting times three!!! Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms, despite my own fertility challenges, has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

NCIS: LA star Eric Christian Olsen and his wife, Sarah Wright Olsen, welcomed their fourth baby on June 17, months after losing their home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
“She’s here!! ✨Ocean Rain Olsen✨ born 6/17 12:37am — 11 pounds 4 ounces,” the pair captioned a joint Instagram post. “Grateful beyond words for our amazing team that helped us get her here safely during an incredibly complex birth. Cannot wait to share all the details of this day. @ericcolsen.”
The couple also share son Wyatt Oliver and daughters Esmé Olivia and Winter Story.
Evren Saint-Eron Grenier
Entourage alum Adrian Grenier and his wife, Jordan Roemmele, welcomed son Evren Saint-Eros Grenier on March 22. “It was a very special experience,” Grenier told People on April 11. “My wife was absolutely incredible … she had such composure and strength.”
The couple, who have been married since 2022, previously welcomed son Seiko Aurelius in June 2023.

Jarah Mariano announced on January 31 that she and actor Milo Ventimiglia welcomed their first baby weeks after losing their home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
“Houseless, never homeless. Welcome back Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia 🌈 1.23.25,” she wrote via Instagram. “Jan 7th my family & I evacuated from the Palisades Fire. We lost our home that we were living in & everything we own, as well as our home under construction that we were about to move into. I was 38 weeks pregnant & I had done an evacuation only a few weeks prior during the Franklin Fire as well. I take it as a gift that I was able to essentially do a practice run for what was inevitably to come. I’m also forever grateful that we were able to evacuate from the Palisades Fire in the daytime, when we could feel more prepared & not caught completely off guard in the middle of the night, for example.”

Skai Jackson revealed on January 26 that she had given birth to her first child. “Kasai 🧸🤎,” the Disney Channel alum wrote via Instagram alongside a sweet snap of her newborn’s tiny feet clad in a green onesie.

They also share daughter Sterling Skye and son Bronze.

Former UFC star Ronda Rousey gave birth to daughter Liko’ula Pā’ūomahinakaipiha, her second child with pro wrestler Travis Browne, in January.
“Our little girl came into this world during a windstorm into a city on fire, so grateful she made it safe and sound,” Rousey wrote via Instagram on January 9.
