An Oklahoma toddler named Hudson is being praised online for his act of kindness toward a stranger at McDonald’s, as seen in a TikTok video with 200,000 views.
“My little boy has the biggest heart,” the tot’s mother, Ashlyn Drew, captioned the touching clip.
She told KFOR that she and Hudson, 3, aka Huddy had gone on a “last-minute” breakfast run to McDonald’s, when her pride and joy noticed an elderly man eating alone.
Hudson asked her where the senior’s children were, to which Drew replied that they’d probably grown up and “moved away” — an answer that didn’t sit well with her conscientious kiddo.
“He didn’t like that,” replied the moved mother.
That’s when little Huddy decided to do something that would make the man’s day. He reportedly brought his food over and sat with the solitary senior.
Tearjerking footage shows the blonde-haired tyke sitting and eating with the elderly fellow, who is clad in a red hat and blue button-down shirt.
Drew wrote in the caption that her son’s sweet gesture made his “momma’s heart happy and sad at the same time.”
“It made me cry in the middle of McDonald’s,” gushed Drew. “I didn’t think I would get emotional.”
However, the Oklahoman said she wasn’t surprised at at his good deed, describing Hudson as a “sweet kid” who “lit up the world” ever since he was born.
“I always say ‘Live like Huddy’ because he doesn’t see people any different,” she gushed. “He loves everyone.”
TikTok viewers were similarly moved by the fun-size samaritan’s good deed. “I just know that made that man’s whole week,” said one touched fan, while another fawned, “this is the cutest thing I’ve seen ever.”
“Did u know seniors are the least touched, talked to, or hugged?” wrote a third. “Ur son prob did more for that gentleman than any medication could ever do!!”
Big-name corporations also praised Hudson with Duracell’s official account chiming in, “Protect his positive energy at all costs.”
“Pass me the tissues,” seconded Pizza Hut, while Eggo gushed, “immediately starting sobbing this is SO sweet.”
However, some skeptics accused Drew of putting her son up to the deed for internet clout, but she denied these allegations vehemently.
“I did not tell my son to go sit with [him],” she explained. “My son asked me if he could.”
She continued, “He love[s] all old people like they are his own grandparents. We own a restaurant and he always sits with older couples. He lost his great great grandparents and misses them dearly.”
Coincidentally, the pair discovered that Hudson’s new friend lives just three miles away and was good pals with Huddy’s late great-grandfather.
