Even before Alix Earle’s flirty New Year’s Eve with Tom Brady, she wasn’t afraid of entering into an age-gap relationship.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that age gap,” Earle, 25, said on an April 2024 episode of Jake Shane’s “Therapuss” podcast, reacting to a 19-year-old fan dating a 47-year-old. “Sometimes I love an old man.”
Earle further revealed that she went out “with someone who’s a little older” when she was in college.
“He was, like, 45 when I was 20, but we only ever kissed because I was nervous,” the influencer explained, teasing that Shane, 26, “would probably know him” but did not publicly identify him.
Nearly one year later, Earle was spotted getting cozy with Brady, 48, during a New Year’s Eve party.
“Alix and Tom were together the entire night on New Year’s Eve partying at a party hosted by Palm Tree Crew in St. Barths,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “They met through mutual friends who were also in St. Barths and had an instant connection. There was a lot of chemistry between them.”
While the insider noted that Earle was “really into hanging out” with Brady, she’s not looking to dive into another relationship so soon.
“It’s nothing serious between her and Tom,” the source added. “They were together laughing, dancing and partying, enjoying themselves.”
Earle and NFL star Braxton Berrios broke up last month after nearly two years together.
“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long distance since, basically, June and we haven’t got to see each other that often,” Earle said in a TikTok video shared in December 2025. “It’s just been really difficult for me. I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place.”
She continued at the time, “A part of me also really wants to be focusing on myself right now. I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs. I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He wasn’t really expecting that of me … I constantly felt guilty.”
Earle moved to California earlier in 2025 while training for Dancing With the Stars season 34, which she ultimately finished in second place. Meanwhile, Berrios, 30, is based in Florida whenever he’s not playing professional football for the Houston Texans.

While Berrios has not spoken extensively about what went wrong, Earle further stated in her social media video that they parted ways amicably.
“It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it sucks,” Earle said. “We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or be mean to him. I think I ultimately just wanted to go with trusting my feelings. This has just been really hard. … It’s not because he did anything wrong or I did anything wrong. It just didn’t really feel like it was working out in the moment.”
Former NFL quarterback Brady, for his part, was previously married to Gisele Bündchen, with whom he shares two children, from 2009 to 2022. He also shares son Jack, 18, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
