Taylor Swift is quite enchanted by the Golf Channel’s coverage of her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
While competing at the WM Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Wednesday, February 4, Kelce, 36, hit a shot on the 16th hole that landed just feet away from the cup.
“Oh, my gosh! Are you kidding me? Better than me. I didn’t think he had that in the bag,” one Golf Channel announcer said. “Travis Kelce, give him the chains. Oh, man, I guess I’m not the only red-light performer. I’ll be waiting all day for Wednesday afternoon.”
Fellow Golf Channel commentator Eamon Lynch added, “I think Taylor Swift is going to write a song about that one.”
In a surprise twist, Swift, also 36, seemingly saw the moment and reacted to the analysis by “liking” the post on Instagram.
“TRAVIS KELCE WITH AN ABSOLUTE DART ON THE 16TH 🔥🎯,” the Golf Channel wrote via X with the moment. “The 3x Super Bowl champ sticks it to within a few feet and wins the gold WM chain!”
Another athlete super impressed with Kelce’s golf game was his NFL teammate Patrick Mahomes.
On Tuesday afternoon, the NFL quarterback got the internet talking when he posted a message via X that stated, “Let’s go!!!!! @tkelce 🎯🎯🎯.”

At first, some fans speculated that it was Mahomes, 30, confirming that Kelce wasn’t retiring from the NFL.
He later clarified with a follow-up post that read, “Talking about ⛳ ⛳😂😂😂.”
Kelce has not announced whether he plans on returning for a 14th NFL season or if he will retire. After the Chiefs’ season came to an end last month, the football player shared a glimpse into his mindset.
“I’ve got so much love for this team, this organization and the people here, so I’ll spend some time with them, go through exit meetings tomorrow and get close to the family and figure things out,” Kelce told reporters on January 4.
As fans eagerly wait for a final answer, Kelce appears to be living his best life in the offseason.
Before heading to San Francisco, California, to celebrate Super Bowl LX, Kelce made it a priority to participate in Arizona’s annual golf tournament.
Each year, the Annexus Pro-Am transforms TPC Scottsdale into a must-see showcase where PGA Tour stars share the fairways with championship athletes, entertainers and cultural icons.
Joining Kelce on the court this year was Los Angeles Dodgers World Series champion Mookie Betts, Olympian Michael Phelps, country singer Zach Top and The Office actor Brian Baumgartner.
Away from the golf course, Kelce and Swift are also spending time together, including a rare date night in Los Angeles. The two were spotted heading to dinner at the Beverly Hills restaurant Funke on January 12.
As for wedding planning, a source previously told Us Weekly that everything remains in the early stages.
“She is having so much fun researching venues and locations,” the insider shared in September 2025. “She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative.”
