Several lanes of 210 Freeway shut down after deadly crash in Arcadia

ARCADIA, Calif. (CNS) — One person was killed Monday when a sedan driven the wrong way on the 210 Freeway in Arcadia crashed head-on into another car.

The crash was reported at 2:55 a.m. on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Baldwin Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.

The CHP shut down all eastbound lanes through the area except the far right lane and shoulder at 3:39 a.m. and followed that with a SigAlert at 3:45 a.m.

Heavy delays are expected. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes.
