LOS ANGELES () — New video shows Nick Reiner moments before his arrest and when he was taken into custody for the murders of his parents, renowned director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer.

Nick Reiner, 32, was charged Tuesday with two counts of first-degree murder, with the special circumstance of multiple murders, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday. He also faces a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, a knife.

Reiner was taken into custody in Exposition Park Sunday evening hours after he allegedly stabbed his parents to death in their Brentwood home, prosecutors said.

Footage obtained appears to show Nick Reiner wearing a hat with a red backpack inside a gas station convenience store. He is seen walking around the store and buying a drink.

Additional video shows Reiner walking as an LAPD vehicle races to the area of Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. Once an officer gets out of the car, Reiner puts his hands up and is arrested.

Nick Reiner had been open about battling drug addiction since he was a teenager. In 2016, Nick Reiner worked with his dad on the movie “Being Charlie,” which was based largely on his struggle with drug addiction.

On Saturday night, Rob and Nick Reiner got into an argument at a holiday party, and at the party Nick was seen acting strangely, sources told News.

Rob Reiner, a famed director, producer and actor, is known for massive Hollywood hits, including “The Princess Bride,” “When Harry Met Sally…,” “Stand By Me,” “This is Spinal Tap,” “A Few Good Men” and many more.
