Tucker Carlson Putin Interview: What Russian President Said On AI And Elon Musk
Tucker Carlson’s explosive interview with Vladimir Putin has dropped. The duo spoke on several issues, including the use case of artificial intelligence (AI), and at one point, the Russian President opened up about Elon Musk. The Russian President spoke at length on Neuralink and the brain chip experiment.
When Carlson asked about the beginning of the AI empire, the Russian leader said it would be better if an expert in big data spoke on the matter. However, in the later part of his response, Putin remarked that humanity needs to consider what is going to happen to the newest developments owing to AI.
Heaping praise on Musk, Putin told Carlson that “there are reports that Elon Musk had already had a chip implanted in the human brain in the USA. What do you think of that?” Putin asked Carlson and added, “Well, I think there is no stopping Elon Musk. He will do as he sees fit. Nevertheless, you need to find some common ground with him and search for ways to persuade him.”
Putin went on to compliment the billionaire and call him a ‘smart person’. “I think he is a smart person; I truly believe he is. So you need to reach an agreement with him because this process needs to be formalized and subjected to certain rules,” the Russian President told Carlson.
“It is impossible to use the AI today, like it was in the case of gunpowder back then,” Putin concluded. Carlson flew to Russia to take the biggest interview of his career. From Moscow, where he met Putin at the Kremlin Palace on Tuesday for an hour, Carlson was headed to Belgrade, as per reports.
