The critically acclaimed dramatic masterpiece All My Sons by Arthur Miller is set to captivate audiences at New City Players with its powerful exploration of family, moral responsibility, and the devastating consequences of ethical compromise.
Directed by Jason Peck, this production promises to bring Miller’s 1947 Tony Award-winning play to life with depth and emotional resonance. Set in the aftermath of World War II, All My Sons tells the gripping story of the Keller family, whose seemingly stable American dream is built on a foundation of moral corruption and hidden truths.
The play follows Joe Keller, a successful businessman whose past actions during the war come back to haunt him, forcing a profound reckoning with personal ethics and familial loyalty. As the narrative unfolds, audiences will be confronted with challenging questions about individual responsibility, the cost of silence, and the far-reaching impact of moral choices.
“This production of All My Sons reminds us that Miller’s questions about truth, accountability, and the cost of our choices are just as powerful now as they were 70 years ago,” says Jason Peck “In a world where it’s easy to think only of ourselves and our immediate circle, this play challenges us to look at the bigger picture—what we owe to each other and to the world around us.”
Praised for its unflinching examination of post-war American society, All My Sons remains a cornerstone of 20th-century American drama. This production invites audiences to witness a story that is at once a personal tragedy and a broader commentary on moral responsibility.
The cast features actors known to South Florida stages and a few familiar New City Players ensemble members: Michael Gioia* (Joe Keller), Laura Turnbull (Kate Keller), Timothy Mark Davis* (Chris Keller), Caroline Tarantolo* (Ann Deever), Brandon Campbell (George Deever), Carlos Alayeto (Jim Bayliss), Laura Argo (Sue Bayliss), Juan Gamero (Frank Lubey), Kristi Rose Mills (Lydia Lubey), and making his professional stage debut as 9-year-old neighbor, Bert, Desmond Sacks. *indicates New City Players ensemble member
