Former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle has been using a private helicopter to deliver supplies to stranded victims of Hurricane Helene in parts of western North Carolina.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame nominee and pilot is documenting the supply runs on X, where commenters are praising him for his efforts.

In one video, Biffle, affectionately known as “The Biff” in the NASCAR community, zooms in on someone who was stranded in the mountains but got the pilot’s attention from more than a mile away by using a mirror to reflect light from the sun.
“Only way we were able to find someone stranded in the mountains at bottom of steep canyon,” he wrote.
In another, Biffle showcases a landing maneuver he had to execute to deliver supplies — a chainsaw, Epipens, insulin, chicken food, formula, gas and more — to the bottom of that canyon.
“Trees. Canyons. Power Lines,” he captioned a post on X that included a video of him landing a helicopter in a narrow strip of open grass in a heavily wooded area. “Glad this little beast of a helicopter can make it to the areas unreachable by larger aircraft.”
The NASCAR star has also alerted family members of stranded hurricane victims that their loved ones are alright.
When one X user asked how she could connect Biffle to those in need of his assistance, Biffle responded, “Coordinates please.”
He has also shared aerial videos of the widespread devastation across western North Carolina, a region in the heart of NASCAR country.
