She said what she said.

A woman’s hot take on how dads should know how to care for their kids without a list of instructions from mom has stirred up an important discussion about gender roles.

Lisa Koerner posted a video in which the Arizona native shared her “unpopular opinion” about parental responsibility — and it clearly struck a nerve with many.

In a TikTok video, with over 3 million views, an unbothered Koerne is seen eating dumplings with overlay text that reads, “This might sting a little but it has to be said. Your husband should be able to take care of your kids on his own without you needing to leave a three-page instruction manual or stressing over their health. Prove me wrong in the comments.”

If they’re not helping to take care of their children when home, it’s fair to ask — what are these men doing?

The Post reached out to Koerner for comment.

She told Newsweek that the intentions behind posting her now-viral video are to “…open up more honest conversations between partners about shared responsibility, rather than defensiveness. The message isn’t about blaming fathers — it’s about raising the bar for what parenting looks like and recognizing that being an involved parent should be the standard, not something extraordinary.”

And opening up the conversation is exactly what the mom of two did, as almost four thousand commenters chimed in beneath her video, the majority agreeing with Koerne’s take.

“If I could baby sit babies at 13 how can a grown man not be able to look after his own child.”

“That’s the difference between having a wife and kids versus being a husband and father.”

“If he can’t, then you have an additional kid.”

“You are 100% correct.”

“And he’s not babysitting!!!!! He’s watching HIS OWN CHILD!!!! god that makes me so mad when people are like ‘Oh that’s nice he’s babysitting her?’ No? He’s just being our child’s father?”

These days, women want to hear less complaining from men and see more caretaking from them. sementsova321 – stock.adobe.com

Fathers being clueless when it comes to caring for their children is sadly not a new complaint.

In a post on U.K.-based community site Mumsnet, a frustrated wife and mother vented about her husband’s irrational complaints about having to care for their children while she works.

In her online rant, she explained how her selfish hubby tells her she “should get a job that fits around school hours and no way should I be working on the weekend (we always have one weekend day free). He knew the days/hours I was working and we both agreed it would be ok.”

To make matters worse, when she comes home after a long day, he’s waiting at the door to complain that he’s had to look after his own children.

Meanwhile, “he does one school drop off and one pick up. He has the rest of the day/s to do as he pleases,” this fed-up wife wrote.
