Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly went scorched-earth Tuesday on CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins. (Watch the video below.)

According to a clip the New York Post shared from Kelly’s SiriusXM show, the conservative commentator called Collins “a cold-hearted bitch” and facetiously offered a “pro tip” on how she could improve.

Kelly started by showing a clip of Collins telling “Real Time” host Bill Maher last week that CNN is fair and agreeing that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris should make herself available to the media.

In an attempt to illustrate the bias she accused Collins of having, Kelly showed a clip of the CNN star correctly telling Donald Trump that the 2020 election was not stolen and reminding him that the dozens of court cases he and his allies had brought were unsuccessful, followed by other clips from CNN. Kelly then disputed Collins’ characterization of her network as fair.

The worst of Kelly’s attack on Collins did not seem to appear in the YouTube video of the broadcast. But according to the clip captured by the New York Post, after Kelly played a brief clip of Collins defending CNN’s coverage and discussing her Alabama roots with Maher, she said: “I will submit to the record, her biggest sin is not that she is biased, though she is; it’s that she’s boring, she’s extremely boring with no personality.”

“I have a pro tip for her: Smile. Try smiling every once in a while,” Kelly continued. “Try not to be, like in your delivery, such a cold-hearted bitch all the time, because it gives people nothing to bond to. You can be a tough interviewer and also have some warmth.”

CNN declined to comment to HuffPost on Kelly’s remarks about its anchor.

Kelly’s show did not immediately reply to a request for comment about the remarks that had apparently been edited out.

Here’s a longer clip of Kelly’s show posted on her YouTube channel, lacking the suggestion that Collins needs to smile more.
