People has reported that original Hairspray stars Marissa Jaret Winokur, Kerry Butler and Laura Bell Bundy will bring their show Mama, I’m A Big Girl Now! Off-Broadway. The production will debut at New World Stages in New York City on Saturday, November 2, ahead of an official opening night on Wednesday, November 13. The limited-run production will run through Sunday, December 8.

This past spring, the trio presented the concert event under the same title at Kean Stage. Audiences spent the evening revisiting the show that helped launch their careers and lifelong friendship, all while singing hits from the shows that made you fall in love with them.
With 16 Broadway shows and over 200 episodes of television between them, this group has truly done it all! From Beetlejuice to Big Brother… Mean Girls to Legally Blonde… Dancing with the Stars to Beauty and the Beast… Wicked to Gypsy… and even the Country Music Awards! Their show will take on a hilarious and meaningful musical journey about their origins, friendships, careers, and their children!
Winokur shared, “Our lives have changed so much over the last 22 years, but when we are back on stage together, it is like time stood still.”
